Debt Recovery Copeland Security, works in close partnership with a panel of established solicitors, delivering a unique 'No Recovery No Fee' financial management service. Copeland significantly contributes to our client's monetary security, we are confident that our methods are the most effective and highly client focused. Designed for debts of at least £750, each new instruction is risk assessed by the Copeland Security client care team. The cases are then serviced and managed under one of the following protocols: RED: Little or no prospect of recovery. Copeland security manage the case should the client require, but the client will be responsible for all disbursements and time costs should recovery of their outstanding debt be unsuccessful. AMBER: The case risk assessment determines a reasonable prospect of recovery. Copeland Security may provide the option to run the case under our 'No Recovery No Fee' scheme and fees are only payable if successful. The defendant will pay legal & court charges and disbursements. Should recovery be unsuccessful, the defendant will be responsible for disbursements only, which would typically include process serve and court fees. GREEN: There is an excellent prospect of recovery. The case will be handled under our 'No Recovery No Fee' agreement. This means the defendant will not need to fund any up front costs to pursue a claim, subject to disclosure of full details of the circumstances of the debt by the client, as Copeland fees are only met on successful recoveries. The defendant will be responsible for all legal & court costs, or if the case is unsuccessful, our insurance policy covers the costs.
